Xillio now supports cloud storage applications with connectors for Dropbox and Box

San Francisco, January 28, 2017 – Xillio, international specialist in the area of content migration and integration of major business platforms, now supports integration with and migration to cloud storage applications with the newly developed connectors for Box and Dropbox, allowing users to access content from the various enterprise content sources via Dropbox or Box. The connectors allow organizations the ability to provide employees with easy access to necessary documents through a single point of access. Additionally, because of the Xillio connectors, organizations are able to increase productivity and collaboration.

The reality is that the usability and accessibility of new cloud solutions like Dropbox and Box are preferred by employees. The result is that people copy documents from the internal repositories to their cloud solution, creating a 'shadow' collaboration environment. With our connectors, customers can get access to the internal sources through Dropbox and Box and they can stay in control over what happens with their content." 

In addition, with the new connectors, various Dropbox and Box functions can be carried out within another content repository. It is possible, for instance, to browse through Dropbox/Box folders and files, to download, upload or remove folders and files, retrieve metadata and view user groups. 

In addition to integration, the connectors also can be used in migration and synchronization processes.
